RS1003 (Transmitting Tube, Pentode, air cooled Power/Output) 6.3V - If 2.3A - Indirect / Parallel, (AC/DC) Similar Tubes Normally replaceable-slightly different: F3a ; SRS551 RS1003 need 2,3A for heating, SRS551 need 2,2A, and F3a need 2,1A. Other caracteristic are the same. Tube data for class C CW mode (max): Siemens RS1003, indirectly heated long life pentode. Transmitting tube which is often seen in professional broadcast equipement, very suitable for audio amplifiers, SE or PP, sound really nice triode strapped in push-pull amplifiers. East Germany equivalent is SRS 551 by RFT. Plate dissipation up to 60 Watts in class C. Ua=1000V, Ug2=340V, Ug1=-45V, Ia=215mA, Ig2=29mA, Ig1=14mA, Pout=155W, Pg2=10W, Pa=60W The RS1003 is a VHF transmitting pentode for use up to 100 MHz at full rating. It is indirectly heated with an oxide coated cathode and an anode dissipation of 60 Watts. Full details are in the data-sheet, which is written in German and we have no English translation as yet. The construction is similar to the European double Beam tetrodes such as the QQV07-50 with a central core and anodes each side of the central column.
